The 3rd Annual Peter J. Hanlon Jingle Bell Run/ Walk will jingle its way through the streets of Port Richmond on Saturday December 5, 2009. Registration begins at 7:30 am and the event kicks off at 9 am from St. George R.C. Church at Venango and Salmon Streets. This event has turned into a celebratory tradition in Pete's memory with participants dressing up in Christmas costumes and ho-ho-ho-ing their way through the streets to raise money for community and youth projects in Pete's memory.

The Peter J. Hanlon Jingle Bell Run/Walk is organized by the AOH Division 87 and the Port Richmond On Patrol & Civic Association (PROPAC). This year, the event will be on Saturday, December 5 and the cost is $25 per person (12 years old and under is $10) and the fee includes a PJH T-shirt and a home cooked pancake breakfast after the race in St. George School Hall. If you are unable to participate in the Jingle Bell Run/Walk, you may still join the event for breakfast for $10.

Sponsors are still needed for this event in the following categories, Dasher ($100), Blitzen ($200) and Rudolph ($300). As a sponsor, your name will be printed on the t-shirt provided to each runner/walker as well as banners and day of the event advertising.
